PART OF VA. 691 TO BE CLOSED FOR PIPE REPAIR

A section of Virginia 691 in the Irving area of Bedford County will be closed while workers repair a pipe that washed out following the recent blizzard.

The damaged section is south of U.S. 460 between Virginia 726 and Virginia 619.

The state Department of Transportation expects the road to reopen around April 9.
