OBIT SMITH, JANE MARTIN

SMITH, Jane Martin, 75, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 27, 1993. She was retired from Samuel Spigel as a fashion coordinator and was the widow of Atlee Smith Jr. Surviving are two sisters, Lelia M. Delong, Roanoke, Margaret M. Moore, Martinsville; two brothers, Thomas B. Martin, Martinsville, William M. Martin, Roanoke; three foster sisters, Mabel S. Lester, Jessie S. Wiggins, both of Roanoke, Helen S. White, Marfa, Texas; two foster brothers, Howard G. Stultz, Roanoke, Herman W. Stultz, Mesa, Ariz.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Sherwood Memorial Park, Tuesday, March 30, 11 a.m. with the Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Snyder Nursing Home or your favorite charity. The family will receive friends Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
