OBIT CROCKETT, ELLA MAE SPRAKER

CROCKETT, Ella Mae Spraker, 84, of Wytheville, died Monday, March 29, 1993 in the Community Hospital of Roanoke. She was born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Albert Burton and Alice Umberger Spraker. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Crockett. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. and Betty B. Crockett, Roanoke; two sisters, Molina Fisher, Wytheville, Myrtle Wright, Route 3, Wytheville; two grandchildren, Jay A. Crockett, Lisa A. Duncan; four great-grandchildren, Robby Crockett, Brad Crockett, Sam W. Duncan, Melissa Murray, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel in Wytheville with the Rev. Joe Carico officiating. Interment will follow in the Crockett Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. The family suggests that those who prefer may make memorials to the Crockett Family Cemetery, in care of Frank Crockett, Route 1, Cripple Creek, VA 24322. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
