OBIT MCCLUNG, MARGUERITE EDGAR
McCLUNG, Marguerite Edgar, 88, of Harrisonburg, and formerly of Lexington,
died Monday, March 29, 1993, at the Sunnyside Presbyterian Home, Harrisonburg.
Mrs. McClung was born in Sterling, Kansas, on September 3, 1904, a daughter of
the late Morrison McClurkin Edgar and Mabel Humphreys Edgar. She was the widow
of the late Lloyd W. McClung, and was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian
Church. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Smoak, Columbia, S.C., Mary Edgar
Hendren, Hampton; a son, Lloyd W. McClung Jr., Lansing, Mich.; seven
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted
Thursday, April 1, 1993, at 11 a.m. at the graveside in the Stonewall Jackson
Cemetery, Lexington, with Dr. L. Randolph Harrison officiating. The family
suggest memorial contributions be made to the Lexington Presbyterian Church or
the Sunnyside Presbyterian Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday
night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
