OBIT RILEY, CLARA DAVIS
RILEY, Clara Davis, 83, of Vinton, died Wednesday, December 30, 1992 in a local hospital. She was formerly of Farmville and was the widow of Thomas J. Riley. She was a member of the Farmville Presbyterian Church and attended Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church, Vinton. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Melinda Riley and Alfred C. Anderson; two grandchildren, Charles and Claudine Anderson, all of Vinton; a sister, Oney L. Davis of Sunnyside Presbyterian Home, Harrisonburg; a sister-in-law, Nora Davis of Farmville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 10 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 1993 with the Rev. Wm. Anthony Layman officiating. Burial with graveside services will be 2 p.m., Westview Cemetery, Farmville, Va. The family suggests memorials be made to Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
