OBIT PRYOR, BERTHA MADELINE
PRYOR, Bertha Madeline, 79, of Montvale, died Wednesday, December 30, 1992. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ada Lee Curtis and one brother, Mathew Hardy. Survivors include one stepson, Ellsworth (Sonny) Pryor, Jr., Richmond; devoted nieces, Hazel Hobson, Montvale, Arlena Hall, New York; devoted nephews, James J. Curtis, Roanoke, Clifton Curtis, Pensacola, Fla., Ted Curtis, Bluefield, W.Va., Travis Curtis, Montvale; sister-in-law, Cleo Hardy; brother-in-law, Wilson Hall, both of Roanoke; other nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Hardy family cemetery in Montvale. Rev. Elmer Buford and Rev. Napoleon Jones will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Montvale First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box C, Montvale, Va. 24122. Viewing and visitation will be Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
