OBIT-BERRY, ANDREW NELSON
BERRY, Andrew Nelson, 36, of Philadelphia, Pa. and formerly of Hillsville, Va., passed away Tuesday, December 29, 1992 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was born August 13, 1956 in Fort Stewart, Ga., the son of Joseph Nelson and Laura Carico Berry of Hillsville, Va. He attended James Madison University and graduated from Penn State University. He received his Masters Degree from the University of Virginia. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Forest Gardner, Laurel Fork; two brothers and sister-in-law, Donald Berry, Hillsville, Jeffrey and Reanna Berry, Galax; a niece, Amanda Gardner; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends in Philadelphia, Pa. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., January 4, 1993 at the Hillsville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nathan Malone officiating. After the memorial service the family will receive friends at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Hillsville First United Methodist Church Youth Fellowship Room.
