EWE AND RAM SALE SET FOR JAN. 9

The Virginia commercial ewe and ram sale will be held Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. at the New River Fairgrounds in Dublin.

Health, quality and confirmation requirements will be rigidly followed. All sheep must meet any industry or government health requirement. All animals will be inspected the day before the sale, all ewes will be pregnancy tested and no rejects will be sold.

More than 300 ewes and 15 rams were consigned to the sale by Dec. 21. Producers consigning ewes include Hickory Hill Farm of Blacksburg, Martin Kegley of Pulaski and A.C. Spotts III of Dublin. Spotts also has consigned rams.
