BERRY, ANDREW NELSON

BERRY, Andrew Nelson, 36, of Philadelphia, Pa., and formerly of Hillsville, Va., passed away Tuesday, December 29, 1992, at Philadelphia, Pa. He was born August 13, 1956, in Fort Stewart, Ga., a son of Joseph Nelson and Laura Carico Berry of Hillsville. He attended James Madison University, and graduated from Penn State University. He received his Masters Degree from University of Virginia, and worked as a clinical counselor. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Forest Gardner of Laurel Fork; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Donald Berry of Hillsville, Jeffrey and Reanna Berry of Galax; a niece, Amanda Gardner; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends in Philadelphia, Pa. Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Monday, January 4, 1993, at the Hillsville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nathan Malone officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Hillsville First United Methodist Church Youth Fellowship Room.
