NOLAN, LONNIE E.
NOLAN, Lonnie E., 68, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, January 1, 1993. He
was a Marine veteran of World War II and was a self employed salesman.
Surviving are his wife, Anne M. Nolan, Roanoke; a daughter, LeAnne Nolan,
Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri N. and Michael G. Robertson,
Roanoke; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Tina Nolan, Salem. He was a
loving grandfather to six grandchildren: Michael, Jason, Erin, and Jacob
Nolan, Brandon and Berkeley Robertson. Survivors also include brothers and
sisters and their families: Flonny James, Etta Dulin, Billy Nolan, Jerry
Nolan, Becky Grant, Nancy Ottaway, Charlotte, N. C. and Marvin Nolan, Marion,
Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday from Oakey's South
Chapel with the Rev. Charles H. Ward officiating. Interment will follow in
Sherwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial
contributions be made to Cave Spring American Little League Baseball (P.O. Box
20486, Roanoke, Va. 24018). Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 7
p.m. Saturday and on Sunday. At other times, the family will be at the home of
Terri and Michael Robertson, Roanoke.
