MAN SOUGHT IN STORE HOLD-UP

The Carroll County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man who held up a grocery New Year's Day and escaped with $350 in cash.

The Sheriff's Department said a man wearing a white cloth over his face walked into Felts Grocery on Virginia 775 shortly after 6 p.m. Friday and pointed a small-caliber pistol at the person behind the counter.

The robber demanded money and fled in a vehicle.
