COREY, NELLIE SUMMERS

COREY, Nellie Summers, 87, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, December 31, 1992, at Showalter Center Warm Hearth Village. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy S. Corey, Blacksburg; a son, David S. K. Corey Jr., Yorktown; three sisters, Miss Margaret B. Summers of Blacksburg, Mrs. Eloise S. Lucas of Christiansburg, Mrs. Kathlyn S. Smith of Portsmouth; and three grandchildren, Cristin C. Lewis of Texas, David S. K. Corey III of Yorktown, Corey K. Nathan of Blacksburg. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 1993, in the Blacksburg Christian Church with the Rev. Johnny Loughridge and the Rev. Al Payne officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church's Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warm Hearth Nursing Home Building Fund, C/O Warm Hearth Village, 1060 Showalter Dr., Blacksburg, Va. 24060.
