FALLS-BOYD

Linda Jack Boyd and Robert Reid Falls were married on December 31, 1992 at 8:00 p.m. in a New Year's Evecandlelight ceremony at Green Ridge Presbyterian Church. Dr. William A. Cole performed the double ring ceremony. The reception was held at Holiday Inn South.

The bride wore a floor-length gown of candlelight satin with an off the shoulder neckline and lace and pearl bodice She carried a cascade bouquet of ivory and gold roses. The matron of honor was Mrs. Ellen J. Painter, sister of the bride. The maid of honor and director was Ms.Barbara Maberry, friend of the bride. The flowergirl was Miss Amanda B. Painter, niece of the bride. Guestbook attendant was Miss Brandy Bailey, and her mother, Robin Bailey was guest soloist, both are special friends of the bride.

The best man was Mr. Jeff Mayhew, friend of the groom. The usher was Mr. Tim Meredith, also friend of the groom. Ringbearer was Master Chase Bailey, friend of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney J. Jack of Roanoke. Sheattended Radford University and isemployed by USAIR, Inc. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Morris of Salem. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and is employed by ITT-EOPD.

The couple will reside in Roanokeafter a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.
