OLIVER-QUESENBERRY

Dorothea Faith Quesenberry andByron Dale Oliver were married November 28, 1992, at 7 o'clock in the evening at the Virginia Tech Memorial Chapel. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Roy P. Quesenberry, grandfather of the bride, and the Rev. Roy Glennard Quesenberry, father of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Roy Glennard Quesenberry of Blacksburg; the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Roy P. Quesenberry of Dublin, and Mrs. Tony Matusevich of Blacksburg. The groom is the son of Mrs. Judith Sanderson of Paducah, Ky., and Mr. James Oliver of Harlingen, Texas; and grandson of Mrs. Thomas Whitmer and Mrs. Naomi Mitchell, both ofPaducah, Ky.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an original gown of candlelight satin enhanced with hand embroidered lace across the bodice and edged along the Veed back and around the cathedral length train. The lace was highlighted with beads and pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of white Casa Blanca lilies, tulips, and roses with trailing ivy and white dendrobium orchids.

Angie Quesenberry of Nashville attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Callie Dalton of Radford; Nancy Henderson of Virginia Beach; Diane Watson of Nashville, Tenn.; and Kimberly Davis of Nashville, Tenn. The flowergirl was Candice Dalton of Radford.

The bridesmaids wore teel velvet floor length gowns with a candlelight satin sash from the shoulders to the floor gathered with a bow at the Veed back. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of white french tulips, heather and ivy. The flowergirl was dressed as a miniature bride and carried a lace basket filled with white rose petals and ivy.

Dr. Brent Oliver of Athens, Ohio, served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Brian Oliver of Paducah, Ky.; Arlin Troyer of Philadelphia, Pa.; Terry Sanderson of Paducah, Ky.; and Kirk Eberhard of Nashville. The ringbearer was Andrew Oliver of Paducah, Ky.

The parents of the bride entertained guests at a reception held at the University Club.

The bride is a graduate of Radford University and is employed by M. Lee Smith Publishers in Nashville. The groom is a graduate of GIT and is a writer for Warner-Chappell Music/Warner Brothers in Los Angeles and Nashville, and Star Song Mucic in Nashville. He is a recording artist on Hollywood Records in Los Angeles, and tours with various artists.

After their wedding trip, Faith and Dale will make their home in Nashville.
