SKAFF-SILVERS

Amy Lou Silvers and Victor Samuel Skaff III were married January 2, 1993, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Dr. Robert Copenhaver officiating. The reception was held at La Maison. The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Karen Silvers, Vinton. Cheryl Alderman, cousin of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Skaff, Vinton, sister of the groom; Stephanie Masters and Jinni Williams, both of Elkins, W. Va.; Alicia Shellhammer, Monroeville, Pa.; Sandy Beavers, Tampa, Fla.; Stacey Scott, Cliffside Park, N. J.

Dr. Victor S. Skaff, Jr., served as his son's best man. Other groomsmen were Andy Silvers of Vinton, brother of the bride; Mark Gillespie, Las Vegas, Nevada; Rodney Spradlin, Vinton; Pat Paye, Roanoke; Tom Buck and Jeff Ray, both of Morgantown, W. Va.; Kevin Miller, Latrobe, Pa.; Jeff Billings, San Diego, Calif.; Brian Pugh, Elkton, Md.; Andy Lease, Ridgway, Pa., Ed Campbell, Manassas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Silvers of Vinton. She graduated from William Byrd High School and Davis and Elkins College. She is employed by Cellular One.

The groom is the son of Dr. Victor S. Skaff, Jr., of Roanoke and Judy G. Skaff of Vinton. He graduated from William Byrd High School, West Virginia University and Slippery Rock University. He is employed by the National Business College.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
