SADLER, EVELYN INEZ SANDERSON

SADLER, Evelyn Inez Sanderson, 70, of Philadelphia, Pa., died Friday, January 1, 1993, in The Northern Division of The Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pa. She was born in Rockbridge County January 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Silas J. and Edna McCutcheon Sanderson. She moved to Philadelphia in 1944, and retired in 1983 from the Penn Emblem Co. She was preceded in death by one sister, Alberta S. Brown and three brothers, Silas C., Vasso K. and Wilson L. Sanderson. Surviving are her husband, Charles O. Sadler; one sister, Patricia S. Eldridge, Fairfield, Va.; two brothers, Elwood M. and Charles T. Sanderson, both of Fairfield, Va.; five sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service was conducted January 3, 1993, at the Thompson-McGill Funeral Home in Philadelphia, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Rising Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Nathan Perkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
