OBIT YATES, FRANK STEVEN

YATES, Frank Steven, 35, passed away Monday after a long illness. He is survived by his father, Frank J. Yates; his mother, Rebecca L. Yates, both of Shawsville; two sisters, Teresa M. Smith, Moneta, Barbara J. Moran, Roanoke; three brothers, Michael A. Willis, Richmond, Shawn L. Yates, Blacksburg, Dale Lanier, Hampton. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shawsville Rescue Squad. If flowers are to be sent for the family, please send them to his residence. Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel. Burial will be private in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
