WALLER, Walter O., ("Bill"), 56, of 2042 Twin Oaks, Pulaski, died suddenly
Sunday, January 3, 1993 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born October
28, 1936 in Wytheville, Va. and was the son of the late David Wexler Waller
and Lillie H. Waller Jackson. He was a member of the First Christian Church,
Pulaski, member of the Thorn Spring Golf Club, the Pulaski Elks Club and was
an employee of C & P Telephone Company having 36 years of service. Surviving
are his wife, Rebecca S. Waller, Pulaski; children, William D. Waller,
Gibsonville, N.C., Michael W. Waller, Bristol, Leslie R. Waller, Dublin; two
grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth W. Headrick, Wytheville; four brothers,
David M. Waller, Douglas S. Waller, Charles D. Waller and Fred M. Waller, all
of Richmond. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the
Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. C. Maynard Powell officiating. Entombment
will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Visiting will be
Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends
from 7 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be
made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes
