MONTGOMERY ACTION WAS VOTER DRIVEN
IT IS UNFORTUNATE that the editorial, "Intolerance and Ignominy" (Dec. 18), criticized the unanimous approval of the resolution supporting Christmas and Easter holidays on the School Board calendar by Montgomery County's Board of Supervisors.Supervisors represent the people who voted for them. The voters choose their representative in county government based on the candidate's platform and beliefs that are attuned to their own opinions.
The board members vote their convictions in accordance with the voters who put them in office. If the board members do not vote in accordance with the desires of the voters who put them in office, they will be replaced at the next election. RICHARD DAUB BLACKSBURG
