CLINGENPEEL, BILLY JACK, 17, ("B. J.")

CLINGENPEEL, Billy Jack, 17, ("B. J.") of Route 1, Ferrum, died Monday, January 4, 1993. He was born August 4, 1975, the son of Jack and Judy Clingenpeel. B. J. was a student at Franklin County High School. Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Anderson Clingenpeel; his uncle, Arnold Underwood. Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Gloria Akers, Radford, Suzie Clingenpeel, Richmond; grandparents, Bertha Clingenpeel, Rocky Mount, Basil and Eva Underwood, Ferrum; two nieces, Andy Akers, Christeena Akers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from Lynch Chapel with Rev. Stan Wright and Rev. Billy Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 2 p.m. Wednesday where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Ferrum Rescue Squad.
