BARTON, CLARENCE EVERETTE

BARTON, Clarence Everette, 80, of Shawsville, died Tuesday, January 5, 1993, in Radford Community Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Highways. Surviving are his wife, Stella Barton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Madeline and Harold Bishop, Christiansburg, Barbara and Kenneth Graham, Shawsville; two sisters, Hazel Whitlock, Christiansburg, Violet Wiechering, Waco, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 7, from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Bond, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Wednesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
