RED CROSS EXPANDS OFFICE HOURS
The Montgomery County chapter of the American Red Cross, 175 W. Main St., has expanded office hours to five days per week, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Executive secretaries Debbie Ingram and Sally Leach will be available to take calls and answer questions about disaster services, service to military families, health, safety and first aid classes and to schedule speakers for various organizations in Montgomery County."This is just another effort on our part to increase our services to the Montgomery County community," said Jim Hain, chapter chairman. "Our goal is to provide this county with trained people who will be available to answer the needs of the community."
Hain noted that the agency continues to seek volunteers to help with disaster services, health and safety classes and blood banks. People in the community who wish to volunteer may stop by the office in Christiansburg or call 382-2361 during office hours.
