2ND COMPLAINT HEARD AGAINST APPRAISER
A second complaint against Speedwell appraiser J.D. Boone has delayed a decision by the Virginia Department of Commerce Appraisal Board on an earlier citizen complaint.A spokesman for the board would not say what either complaint was about, but said the second one was received anonymously.
The board was looking into Boone's appraisal procedures but now has put proceedings on hold until its next meeting March 16. If the board decides Boone has violated procedures, it could fine him and revoke his appraiser's license but he would have the right to appeal the decision.
