ARSON SUSPECT CLEARED

A magistrate Wednesday found no probable cause to send a man to trial for a series of December fires that gutted much of Matewan.

Jerry Lee Barker, 39, of Phelps, Ky., walked out of the courtroom a free man after the ruling by Magistrate June Browning, said Barker's attorney, A.J. Ryan.
