GOAD, ROBERT JOSEPH

GOAD, Robert Joseph, 56, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 5, 1993. He was a native of Giles County, and was presently employed as a warehouse clerk at Parts Depot, Inc. Survivors include two brothers, William F. Goad of Wildwood, Fla., Albert Junior Goad of Northeast, Md.; two sisters, Ruby French of Montgomery, Ala., Anne Dodson Reese of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Chapel by the Rev. David Neal. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association, 404 8th St. N.E., Charlottesville, Va. 22901.
