WICKLINE, RUTH PHILPOTT

WICKLINE, Ruth Philpott, 94, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 6, 1993 at South Roanoke Nursing Home. She was a charter member of Grandin Court Baptist Church, past president of Grandin Court Garden Club and lifetime member of Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Surviving are her husband, Herbert A. Wickline; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Thomas and Doris Wickline, Max Camper and Garnett Wickline, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Carol Johnston at Grandin Court Baptist Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Grandin Court Baptist Church.
