AKERS, L. CAMBRIDGE

AKERS, L. Cambridge, 51, of Indianapolis, Ind. and formerly of Floyd, passed away Sunday, January 3, 1993 in an Indianapolis hospital. He is survived by three daughters, Alisha Akers, Patrina Akers, Latonya Evans; one son, Ramon Akers, Raleigh, N.C.; his mother, Elizabeth (Carrie) Akers, Floyd; one sister, Constance Shelton, Martinsville; three brothers, Charles K. Akers, New Jersey, Rev. Dennis M. Akers, Bryant E. Akers, Floyd; one grandchild. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Floyd Cemetery with Rev. Roger Hagwood officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
