OBIT BOOTH, JAMES ROBERT, JR.

BOOTH, James Robert, Jr. 72, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 1993 at his residence. He was retired from Civil Service and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife Annie Hester Chisom Booth; one son, James Robert Booth III of Ill.; one daughter, Farah B. Gingles, Canton, Ohio; two brothers, William E. Booth and Robert B. Booth, both of Vinton; one sister, Mrs. Sam Young of Roanoke; brother-in-law, Robert Chisom of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, January 8, 1993 from Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Rev. Irvin W. Sloan will officiate. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
