CRAFT, James Lewis, 77, of Roanoke, died Thursday, January 7, 1993 in a
Salem hospital. He was a retired conductor with the N&W Railroad. He is
survived by his wife, Dora Thompson Craft; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane
and Freddie Dearing, Vinton, Judy and Alvin Waldron, Salem; one sister, Violet
Linkenauger, Troutville; five grandchildren, Jerry Day Dearing, Rodney
Dearing, and J. D. Dearing, Amy Waldron, Jenny Waldron; three
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 1993
at noon, at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Rev. Billy White officiating. Interment
will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after
2 p.m. Friday.
