OBIT DILLON, LEWIS FRANK SR.

DILLON, Lewis Frank Sr., 71, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 7, 1993 at his residence. He was a retired machinist from Norfolk Southern Railway, having worked at East End Shops. He was also a World War II veteran. Surviving are his wife, Elsie James Dillon; two sons, Lewis Frank Dillon Jr., Boones Mill, John Fitzgerald Dillon, of the home; two daughters, Linda D. Martin, Roanoke, Donna M. McClure, Villamont; one brother, Sherman W. (Sonny) Dillon, Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. Michael B. (Dot) Tanner, Roanoke, Mrs. Joseph A. (Ruby) Smith, Roanoke, Mrs. Lewis B. (Geri) Owen, Salem; also five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, January 9, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Carl V. Woodie will officiate. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts may be made to the First Church of God, P.O. Box 29, Vinton, Va. 24179 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 4235 Colonial Ave. S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24018. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
