OBIT SNEED, MARY SHREWSBERRY

SNEED, Mary Shrewsberry, 91, of Roanoke, formerly of West Virginia, passed away January 7, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Sneed; four daughters and two sons. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Goldie M. Cox, Joyce Stacey, Garnet Barber, Verna and Jim Wickline, Margaret and Otis Walker, Pearl and James Harrison, Judy and Jerry Bush; sons and daughters-in-law, Millard and Marcie Sneed, Frank and Elaine Sneed; also surviving are a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Paul Braisted officiating. Interment will be in Beckley, W.Va. at 2:30 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home.
