OBIT SIGMON, NANNIE H.
SIGMON, Nannie H., 80, of Route 2, Ferrum, died Wednesday, January 6, 1993
in a Roanoke hospital. She was the widow of Luther H. Sigmon. Surviving are
five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Eva) Littles of Bassett, Mrs. Bobby (Joyce)
Radford, Mrs. Billy (Claudine) Radford, and Mrs. Andrew (Gloria) Stone, all of
Ferrum, Pauline Sigmon of the home; one son, Brotis Wayne Sigmon of the home;
a sister, Cora Peters of Ferrum; two brothers, Posey Hale of Ferrum, and Earl
Hale of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Evangelistic House of
Prayer with Rev. Bud Nichols and Rev. John Ingram officiating. Interment will
follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky
Mount after 2 p.m. Friday where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of
flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to the Ferrum Rescue Squad.
