OBIT KING, SONA WILLIAMS

KING, Sona Williams, 61, of Miami, Fla., passed away Tuesday, January 5, 1993 after a long illness. She was a native of St. Paul, Va. She attended Marshall University and graduated from Concord College. She taught in the Wise County schools for seven years and in Dade County, Fla. for 28 years. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Williams of St. Paul. Survivors include her husband, William P. King, Miami, Fla.; her mother, Vera D. Williams, St. Paul; two sons, William P. King, Jr. and Joseph Michael King, both of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Lynn W. Dickenson, Roanoke; one brother, Joseph P. Williams, Charlotte, N.C.; one grandchild, Paris King; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in Miami, Fla. Saturday, January 9, 1993. A memorial service and entombment will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 1993 in the Chapel of Love at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va. with the Dr. Jerry Whitt officiating. Huff-Cook Funeral Home, St. Paul-Castlewood is in charge of the local arrangements.
