EWE AND RAM SALE SCHEDULED TODAY

The Virginia Commercial Ewe and Ram Sale, held annually since 1991, will be today at 10 a.m.

It was moved from November to January to take advantage of natural breeding cycles in offering bred ewes to buyers.

More than 300 ewes and 15 rams have been consigned to the sale at New River Valley Fairgrounds, said Pulaski County Extension Agent Richard S. White. For sale information, call 980-7761.

All animals were inspected individually Friday by a sale review committee.
