UNCC BASKETBALL COACH TO SPEAK IN BLACKSBURG

UNC-Charlotte head basketball coach Jeff Mullins will be the guest speaker at the Blacksburg Sports Club luncheon meeting at noon Thursday at the Custom Catering Center in Blacksburg. Mullins' 49ers will play the Virginia Tech men's team in a Metro Conference battle that evening at Casell Coliseum.

Mullins, a native of Lexington, Ky., was an All-America player at Duke in 1964. He was also a member of the USA's gold medal basketball team at the 1964 Toyko Olympic Games.
