OBIT POINDEXTER, HAROLD ("SWEET")

POINDEXTER, Harold ("Sweet"), 80, of Route 2, Wirtz, died Thursday, January 7, 1993 in Franklin Memorial Hospital. He was born August 6, 1912, the son of Hardy and Geneva Dudley Poindexter. Surviving are one sister, Doris P. Perdue of Wirtz; two brothers, Nelson Poindexter of Union Hall and William Poindexter of Washington, D.C. Also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 1993 from the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Gene Ashworth with interment to follow in the Poindexter Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin Saturday after 2 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
