OBIT JOYNER, JOHNSON PARKS, ("J.P.")
JOYNER, Johnson Parks, ("J.P."), 81, of Christiansburg, died Thursday,
January 7, 1993 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife,
Louisa C. Joyner; three children, Robert P. Joyner, James C. Joyner and Elaine
Dudley; also surviving are two sisters; three brothers; six grandchildren; one
great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday from the
Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Peter DuPlessis with
burial in Sunset Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers
memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg,
Va. 24073. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening
at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
