HARDY-OFFERMANN

Mr. and Mrs. Griffin Hardy of Roanoke announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Scott, toDr. Paul V. Offermann, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul V. Offermann, Sr., of Buffalo, New York.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Frank J. Scott, Sr., and the late Mr. Frank J. Scott. She is also thegranddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Griffin Hardy of Bedford, Virginia.

Miss Hardy is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and VirginiaPolytechnic Institute and State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.

Dr. Offermann graduated from St. Louis University Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He is a Cum Laude graduate of George Town University School of Medicine. He recentlycompleted his residency training inEmergency Medicine from Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine.

A June wedding is planned.
