Jayne Compton Gott and WilliamGrady Harman were married January 9, 1993, at Christ Lutheran Church. Pastor Mark Radecke performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the church. The matron of honor was Nancy Gott Baugh, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lou Anne Gott, sister of the bride, and Ann Katherine Harman, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Casey Lee Baugh, niece of the bride. The best man was Henry Ferguson Harman, father of the groom. Ushers were Jon Ferguson Harman, brother of the groom, Charles K. McKinney, Tim E. Bradley, and Jim F. Baugh. Ringbearer was Benjamin Franklin Baugh, nephew of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Corinne B. Gott and the late Stephen D. Gott, of Roanoke. She graduated from Patterson High School in Lenoir, N.C., and attended Virginia Commonwealth University and Mary Baldwin College. She is employed by Heironimus as a manager. The groom is a son of Henry and Barbara Harman, of Roanoke. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and is employed by Timber Truss Housing Systems, Inc. After the wedding trip to the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke, Va.
