PHILLIPS-SCHMIDT

Suzanne Carol Schmidt and William Scott Phillips were married November 28, 1992 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with Father John Cavanaugh officiating. The reception was held at Sugar Mill Country Club, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The maids of honor were Catherine Schmidt and Patricia Schmidt, sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jeneanne Fields, cousin; Traci Phillips, sister of the groom; Christy Barnard, niece of the groom; and Deborah McKinney, friend. The best man was Robert Deeb, friend. The ushers were Bill Schmidt and Kurt Schmidt, brothers of the bride; Joshua Barnard, nephew of the groom; and Edward Graybeal, friend. The bride is the daughter of Joan Schmidt and J.W. Schmidt, Jr., both of Blacksburg. She is a graduate of Blacksburg High School. The groom is the son of Donald Phillips of Winchester, Ky.; and Sydney Phillips of Ocala, Florida. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is employed by Lockheed Space Operations. The newlyweds are living in Edgewater, Florida, after their wedding trip the Canadian Rockies.
