SHELOR-LONG

Kathy Elizabeth Long and Charles Travis Shelor were united in marriage on October 24, 1992, in Colonial AvenueBaptist Church. Branan Thompson was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held in the Fellowship Hall atColonial Avenue Baptist Church.

The presentation of the bride was by John William Schaeffer. Tina Collins, best friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Sarah Hartwell, sister of the bride; and Tasha Shelor, sister of the groom. Charles Lee Shelor served as his son's best man.Jamey Brugh, best friend of the groom; and John Green, cousin of the groom, served as ushers and candlelighters. Vicki Green was the guestbook attendant.

Kathy is the daughter of Mrs. Sandra L. Hartwell of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School. Travis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Shelor ofBuchanan. He is a graduate of James River High School and is employed by Utility Line Equipment.

The newlyweds reside in Buchanan, Va.
