HENLEY, James Charles, 72, of Hardy, died Saturday, January 9, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Marie Dillon Henley; a son, Robert W. Henley, Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy H. and James E. Gwaltney, Connie H. and Randall Dudley, both of Hardy; grandsons, Steven W. and wife Lou Spencer, Tracy A. Henley, James R. and wife Sissy Henley, and Troy T. Henley; granddaughters, Dana D. and husband Tony Montgomery, Miranda N. Dudley; great-grandson, Christopher S. Spencer; great-granddaughters, Devon Renee Henley, Samantha Gale Spencer, and Brittany Nicole Henley; brother and sister-in-law, Oscar O. and Eva Henley, Virginia Beach; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl H. and Russell Fitzgerald, Denbigh, Va.; brother-in-law, Ralph J. Caldwell, Greensboro, N.C.; sister-in-law, Lillian L. Henley, Roanoke. Funeral services will be noon Monday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Anthony C. Busic with burial in Mountain View Memorial Park, Boones Mill. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
