OBIT WARREN, PEARL TURNER
WARREN, Pearl Turner, 68, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 7,
1993. She is survived by her husband, George W. Warren Sr., two sons and
daughters-in-law, George W. Jr. and Betty Warren, Beverly E. and Gail Warren,
two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce L. and Theodore Inge, Carolyn W. and
Alfred Anderson, all of Roanoke; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-two
great-grandchildren; one brother, William Turner of Washington, D.C.; one
sister, Lorraine Franklin of Roanoke; two brothers-in-law and wives, Sherman
and Mollie Warren of Columbia, S.C., Ellis Jr. and Betty Warren of McKeesport,
Penn.; four sisters-in-law and husbands, Mildred O'Neal, Gertrude and George
Blagmon, all of Roanoke, Evelyn Vereen, Plummer and William O'Neal, all of
Homestead, Penn.; three aunts and two devoted friends, Edna and Carl Otey of
Roanoke; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hills Street Baptist Church
with the Rev. Perry Medley officiating. Burial will follow in Old Dominion
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday
at the church. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
