OBIT JOHNSON, BESSIE DREW

JOHNSON, Bessie Drew, 91, of Bedford, died Thursday, January 7, 1993 in Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. She is survived by sons, Warwick (Pongee) "Ruby Drew" Sr., Columbus, Ohio, Boyd Bell, Petersburg, Va.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends; a very dear friend, Sister Betty Bottom. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 10, 1993 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the chapel of the Bedford Funeral Home. Services of memory will be Monday, January 11, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Bedford Funeral Home, Route 1, Hwy. 221, Bedford, Va. Interment will be in Drews Family Cemetery, Huddleston, Va. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
