WHAT HAPPENED TO CABLE CONTROL?

WELL, here it comes! I open my bill from the benevolent local Cox Cable Roanoke company and find my annual surprise! They've raised the rates again! Mine by 9.4 percent!

I thought our duly elected legislators were going to protect us from rate hikes. It seems I remember reading somewhere that rates would not go up willy-nilly at the whim of the Cox Cable Roanoke people. Can no one stop these people? SAMUEL C. PALMER JR. ROANOKE
