OBIT SPENCER, PEARL BAYSE

SPENCER, Pearl Bayse, 89, of Roanoke, died Sunday, January 10, 1993. She was the widow of Alexander S. Spencer. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, William F. and Caroline Spencer, Melvin C. and Helen Spencer, all of Roanoke, David J. and Rosie Spencer of Fincastle; daughters and sons-in-law, Esther S. and Herndon Myers, Joan S. and Robert Sledd, all of Roanoke, Janie S. and Bernard Smith of Christiansburg; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Baker, Roanoke; and brothers, Edward Bayse, Argle Bayse, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fair View Cemetery with Pastor Tom Peters officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
