OBIT ARNOLD, JOHN HENRY
ARNOLD, John Henry, 88, of 111 Gum St., Culpepper, and formerly of Salem, died Friday, January 8, 1993, at E. A. Crump Manor in Glen Allen, Va. A native of Wythe County, he was the son of the late, Cloyde P. and Mary Ingo Arnold. His wife, the late Sally Barfield Arnold, preceded him in death in 1972. He was a retired bridge superintendent for the Virginia Department of Highways, and is survived by one son, James Henry Arnold of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Claudette Myron Arnold of Richmond; one sister, Almedia Arnold Davidson of Roanoke; and two grandchildren, Kevin Arnold of Culpepper, Kim Litscher of Manassas; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1993, at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Culpepper, with the Rev. Dan Malcolm officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
