OBIT HAWKINS, MARJORIE FRAME
HAWKINS, Marjorie Frame, 84, of the 1600 block of Bolling Ave., Norfolk,
died Saturday, January 9, 1993, in her home. Mrs. Hawkins was a native of
Schenectady, N.Y. She was a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, Mass., and
was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. Mrs. Hawkins was a
member of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, the Culture Vultures Book Club and
Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughter Circle, and was very active in the
Girl Scouts of Tidewater. Survivors include her husband, James Blair Hawkins,
Norfolk; a son and daughter-in-law, William Frame and Carol M. Hawkins,
Roanoke; two granddaughters, Susan Blair Hawkins, Anne Stuart Hawkins, both of
Roanoke; one nephew, Robert Preston Hawkins, III, Hilton Head, S.C.; and one
niece, Ruth Hawkins Molony, Waynesboro. A memorial service will be conducted 2
p.m. Monday, January 11, 1993, at First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk by Dr.
J. Shepherd Russell. Burial will be at the 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1993,
at Mountain View Cemetery in Clifton Forge. Memorial donations may be made to
