RAMSEY, Muritta McDaniel Mason, ("Rennie"), 72, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, January 10, 1993, in Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center. She was born in Buena Vista on March 16, 1920, the daughter of the late Lewis McDaniel and Indiannah Wheeler McDaniel, and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Harold Garber Ramse, of the home; three sons, Marion and Calvin Mason, both of Buena Vista, Donald Mason, Vesuvius; two daughters, Ruby Hull, Louise Humphries, both of Buena Vista; four stepchildren, Elilzabeth Harris of Roanoke, Joyce Reid of Buena Vista, Hansford Ramsey of Portsmouth, Eleanor Foltz; three brothers, Harry, Homer and John McDaniel, all of Buena Vista; three sisters, Hattie Fitzgerald, Dorothy Snow, both of Buena Vista, Rachel Youn of California; and thirteen grandchildren, twelve stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and thirteen great-stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday from Lomax Funeral Chapel with Elders Garvis Wheeler and Alvin Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Lomax Funeral Home.
