OBIT REID, LILLIE VIRGINIA MILLER
REID, Lillie Virginia Miller, 79 of Lexington, died Sunday, January 10, 1993, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Reed was born January 21, 1913, in Rockbridge County. She was the daughter of the late Lacy McClung Miller and Mattie Ayers Miller. She was a member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church, and was the widow of Harry M. Reed. Surviving are three sisters, Katherine M. Davis of Lexington, Emma M. Collins of Kinswick, Bessie M. Dunbar of Eagle Rock; and three special nieces, Gail M. Clark of Buena Vista, Gladys C. Sanner of Earlysville, Lucy C. Cash of Charlottesville. Funeral services will be conduced 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Broad Creek A.R.P. Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Lauderdale A.R.P Church or to the Broad Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington.
